BelIz TÜRKER
I believe architecture should go beyond organising space and actively support the way people think, behave, and move through everyday life. My work focuses on designing environments that reduce cognitive load, guide behaviour without instruction and create clarity during moments of transition.
As an architect, I work across spatial systems, living environments and user-centred design with a strong emphasis on experience design as an integral part of the architectural process. I develop projects that challenge conventional typologies and propose new ways of living, working and interacting, treating space as a sequence of experiences rather than a static composition. My approach is grounded in the idea that architecture can function as an intuitive framework, shaping routines, supporting autonomy, and enabling connection without pressure or prescription.
Throughout my professional experience, I have worked on a range of projects including hospitality, residential, wellness and commercial developments. This diversity has allowed me to approach design across different scales and user scenarios while maintaining a consistent focus on human behaviour and spatial clarity.
I am particularly interested in the relationship between architecture and human behaviour, exploring themes such as mental states in space, daily rhythms, social dynamics and the integration of invisible systems. Through both conceptual and applied work, I aim to develop environments that are legible, adaptive, and quietly supportive.
Rather than prioritising efficiency or optimisation alone, I focus on creating spatial experiences that foster clarity, balance, and a sense of direction over time.
